A number of grant deadlines, grant events, and business awards are below.
- Smart Farms Program 2022: CAAIN is dedicating $5 Million to projects under this competition.
- The Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP): up to a maximum of $2,000,000 available funding.
- Aboriginal Entrepreneurship Program: Access to Business Opportunities: Eligible activities will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $500,000.

5. Environment/CleanTech
Natural Gas Cleantech Competition: NGIF is offering up to $500,000 (CAD) per project, representing as much as 33% of a project’s eligible expenses. Deadline: July 8, 2022.
The Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP): up to a maximum of $2,000,000 available funding. Deadline: August 11, 2022.
Zero Emission Transit Fund: the Government of Canada is investing $2.75 billion over five years through this program. Apply here.
Alberta Methane Emissions Program: $17-million program funded by the Technology Innovation and Emissions Reduction (TIER) system.
The call for proposals for the Natural Resources Canada ISO 50001 program for commercial and institutional buildings will open in Fall 2022. Maximum of $40,000 per facility grant available. Stay tuned!
Remote Area Heating Allowance Program: you may be eligible for a 25% rebate on heating oil and/or propane purchases. The program is scheduled to scheduled to expire March 31, 2023.
