Centre of Excellence in Next Generation Networks (CENGN) and members will technically and financially support projects to commercialize promising technology originating in research institutions, start-ups and SMEs.  We are committed to removing the barriers to commercialization, accelerating product introduction and reducing product development time and costs. CENGN members have a proven track record in commercialization – they are putting both their expertise and equipment on the table to ensure the projects they support are successful.

Eligible Applicants

o qualify for consideration your company must meet the following criteria:

  • Your company is based in Canada, has less than 500 employees, and has less than $50M in annual revenue
  • Your product is either in market now, or is approaching the end of development
  • Your company can make productive use of the CENGN testbed to advance its commercialization efforts

CENGN considers new projects on a rolling basis. Selected companies can often start their projects within 1-3 months of contacting us.

Eligible Expenses

Eligible recipients are small – medium sized companies, start-ups or researchers with innovative technology, products, application or services in the following areas:
