Seller-Lender Formula offers financing solutions and support for transferring a business that are advantageous to both the seller-lender, or borrower, and the buyer.
Eligible Applicants
To be eligible, you must:
- Be over 18 years of age and domiciled in Québec;
- Hold at least 20% of the interests in the farm business after your project is underway;
- Show good profit-making potential;
- Abide by the environmental standards set forth in the Environment Quality Act and the Agricultural Operations Regulations, including the requirements involving the phosphorus report and operating rights.
