The Small Equipment Grant (SEG) stream is intended to help Alberta institutions attract and retain outstanding talent in the context of significant international competition. The SEG will support leading edge research infrastructure that will enable talented faculty to undertake innovative research programs. Applications are encouraged to align with provincial priorities in the context of the ARIF and address strategic infrastructure needs related to maintaining or enhancing the competitiveness of the proponent’s and institution’s research programs.
