Funded by the Government of Canada, the Youth Dividend program is ICTC’s response to the growing demand for information and communications technology (ICT) and digital professionals.
The goal of this initiative is to help youth obtain ICT/digital careers, while assisting employers to gain much needed resources in the following areas:
- Software Development
- Data Analysis
- Data Science
- Business Analysis
- Digital Marketing/Sales
Through this program, unemployed or underemployed youth will be given the opportunity to enhance their digital and ICT skills, thereby increasing their overall competencies and employment readiness.
- Education: Post Secondary completed (except for Yukon, NWT, Nunavut)
- Age: 18 to 30 years old
- Employment status: Unemployed or underemployed, Legally entitled to work in Canada, Participant cannot have previously worked for the company applying for the YD program
- Residency status: Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee
- Canadian SMB’s – profit or non-profit.
