Partnership Marketing Investment | Travel Alberta

Value: Up to 50% leveraged investment by Travel Alberta for a maximum of three years. An additional three years of investment (at a reduced leverage for each additional year) may be available if steady and considerable revenue growth has occurred in the first three years of funding.

Partnership Marketing Investment supports the growth of Alberta’s tourism Industry by investing in Alberta industry-led marketing initiatives to increase their marketing capacity, resulting in increased tourism revenues. Marketing activities should demonstrate collaboration between the partners such as a partnered package, a single call to action, or a creative concept that unifies the partners. Marketing partnerships can strengthen your product offering and are a powerful way to expose your business to customers you might otherwise never reach.

Eligibility:

Alberta-based tourism organizations registered in the province

Partnered marketing initiatives must involve financial investment by two or more Alberta-based tourism organizations registered in the province

Investment by non-traditional tourism partners may be considered when there is a financial investment from a minimum of one traditional tourism operator

  • Consumer Show Attendance
  • Media and Public Relations Activities
  • Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Events
  • Online/Digital/Social Media
  • Outdoor Advertising (Billboards)
  • Print Advertising (including tourism guides)
  • Radio and Television
  • Travel Trade

Deadline: January 31, 2018. Applications must be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to the start date of any marketing activities.
