As many of you know, the provincial budget reduced Advanced Education funding.
Here are some news headlines:
- Advanced Education reduced 6.3%
- SAIT eliminating 230 positions

Strategic Innovation Fund: Stream 5: National Ecosystems are now accepting applications. The objective of Stream 5: National Ecosystems is to foster business-led collaboration between multiple organizations, including: SMEs, academic and research institutions, large corporations, and incubators/accelerators in order to accelerate commercialization in areas with demonstrated Canadian advantage to build Canadian ecosystems: http://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/125.nsf/eng/00017.html
The Canada History Fund encourages Canadians to improve their knowledge about Canada’s history, civics and public policy.
