Content Development Investment supports the growth of Alberta’s tourism industry by investing in Alberta industry-led marketing initiatives to increase a businesses marketing capacity, resulting in increased tourism revenues. The goal of content marketing is to attract and retain customers by consistently creating and curating relevant and valuable content with the intention of changing or enhancing consumer behavior. It is an ongoing process that is best integrated into your overall marketing plan.
Alberta-based tourism organizations registered in the province are eligible to apply for funding to develop compelling assets that support marketing initiatives.
Individual tourism businesses with annual marketing budgets of less than $10,000 may qualify for funding without partners. Organizations that have an annual marketing budget of $10,000 or more are required to apply for funding as a marketing partnership with a minimum of one additional tourism partner.
