The City of Lacombe is hosting David Kincade’s Advanced Grant Writing Course™ from June 2 to June 6, 2025.

When: June 16 to June 20, 2025.

Schedule:

Monday: 1pm – 4:15pm

Tuesday: 8:45am to 12pm. Lunch. 12:30pm- 3:45pm

Wednesday: 1pm – 4:15pm

Thursday: 8:45am to 12pm. Lunch. 12:30pm- 3:45pm

Friday: 8:45am – 12pm

Where: Lacombe Memorial Centre

Question and Answer: 

1. Organizations will receive complimentary assistance applying for a training grant. with the course instructor, so please contact us as soon as possible. The training grant may covers 66% of the trainee cost.
2. Course Cost Per Trainee: $5,000. Training Grant covers $3,333 per trainee. Plus GST.
3. The training grant is first come, first serve. Submit the first week of April.
4. A reminder that the grant is reimbursed. The organization is required to pay the tuition before the course starts, and it submits for reimbursement the day after the course.
5. If the organization is ineligible for the CAJG, they are required to fund the course cost.

Deliverables:

• 21 hours of in-person training to help organizations build a master grant application
• Online grant writing portal for 12 months following the course (over 14 hours of instructional video and over 140 lessons)
