Community Climate Acton Grants build resilience in local communities by supporting projects that help bring citizens together and lead the charge against rising global temperatures. Projects should help to engage diverse stakeholders, build energy and climate literacy, and create community capacity to reduce emissions. Wherever possible, grants will be used to support projects that build climate resilience through reducing carbon while also generating community benefits such as improved public health, local job creation, increased mobility, etc. Projects should be able to demonstrate a pathway for reducing greenhouse gas reductions.
