AgriMarketing Program: provides funding up to a maximum of $10 million over five years. Deadline: September 30, 2022.
AgriScience Program renewal under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership is approaching. Intake period opens: November 2022 – Clusters Component; January 2023 – Projects Component.
Supply Management Processing Investment Fund: contribute up to $5 million in non-repayable contribution to an organization over the life of the program.
Agricultural Clean Technology Program funds up to 75% of eligible costs per project. Application for Research and Innovation (R&I) Stream is ongoing.
AgriInnovate Program: funding up to 50% of total eligible costs, to a maximum of $10 million. Deadline: March 31, 2023.
Water Program: receive up to $25,000 to enhance your agricultural water management. Program ends March 31, 2023.
Canadian Agriculture Strategic Priorities Program is a $10 million per year program of non-repayable contribution funding. Applications are only accepted for projects with end dates on or before March 31, 2024.
New! Supporting the Foundations of Cultural Infrastructure Initiative: receives an additional $10 million for 2022-2023 intake. Funds are limited. Apply quickly before funding expires.
Indigenous Artist Microgrant: Total funding available for this program is $75,000. Ongoing until funds are allocated.
Canada Councils for the Arts – Strategic Innovation Fund invites you to Seed, Cultivate and Grow bold ideas. Receive up to $1 million grants to transform the arts sector.
Community Performing Arts Organizations Operating Funding: produce funding to self-create and self-produce performing art productions. Deadline: October 3, 2022.
Canada Media Fund’s Early-Stage Development Program supports eligible projects at the beginning of a Project’s creative process. Deadline: October 13, 2022.
Annual Programming Grants support specific, relevant activity that needs for an operating investment relationship with the Edmonton Arts Council. Deadline: December 1, 2022.
Alberta Media Fund offers a variety of grants to help support the growth of the province’s cultural industries. Learn more about available funding.
Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program: COVID-19 Resilience stream: The maximum size of projects under the stream is set at $10M total eligible costs.
Venture Capital Catalyst Initiative (VCCI) is making available up to $450 million through three new streams. Learn more.
The Jobs and Growth Fund provides funding to businesses and organizations to help create jobs and position local economies for long-term growth. Learn more.
The Tourism Relief Fund (TRF) is a $500-million national program to support the tourism sector in Canada.
Work-Sharing Program: special measures for employers affected by the downturn in business related to COVID-19 effective March 15, 2020 to September 24, 2022.
Indigenous Community Business Fund: access funding to support their community-owned businesses whose revenues have been affected by COVID-19.
The Digital Economy Program helps small businesses take their businesses online.
The Aerospace Regional Recovery Initiative (ARRI) is a national program that will provide $250 million over three years to help the Canadian aerospace sector.
Arts Presentation Fund for COVID Recovery: the City of Edmonton allocated funds for artists to present and perform their work. Application is still ongoing.
The Major Festivals and Events Support Initiative (MFESI) is a two-year, $200-million national fund to help major Canadian festivals survive and adapt to the pandemic.
Short-Term Compensation Fund for Canadian Audiovisual Productions (STCF): extended until March 31, 2023 and is budgeted at up to $150 million dollars.

Union Training and Innovation Program – Investments in Training Equipment Stream: funding amount is up to $5,000,000 per project. Deadline: October 12, 2022.
Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISE) program: apply for a maximum of $550,000. Deadline: October 13, 2022.
Apprenticeship Incentive Grant for Women (AIG-W) is a taxable grant worth $3,000 per level. Deadline: March 31, 2023.
EHRC’s Discovering Potential Program provides subsidies for internship or training opportunities up to $25,000 per participant. Apply now!
Canada Digital Adoption Program help to get your business online, give your e-commerce presence a boost or help digitalize your business’s operations. Application is ongoing.
Young Canada Works (YCW) offers a variety of short-term job and internship programs to job seekers and employers. Check for more details.
Young Canada Works in Both Official Languages (YCWBOL): receive salary subsidies and access to a pool of talented youth. Annual application deadline is February 3rd.
TECHNATION’s Career Ready Program awards $7000 wage subsidies to employers hiring students from under-represented groups.
Digital Skills for Youth Program connects underemployed post-secondary graduates with small businesses and not-for-profit organizations to gain meaningful work experience.

Submit an Expression of Interest to demonstrate the value of your technology through the Expanded Technologies Pilot program. Incentive limit for parent companies increases from $500,000 to $1 million.
Silicon Valley digital – Canadian Technology Accelerator: achieve your business objectives and capitalize on opportunities by accessing the unique resources of the Silicon Valley. Deadline: September 28, 2022.

Indigenous Forestry Initiative (IFI) provides financial support to Indigenous-led economic development projects in Canada’s forest sector. Funding available: $1 million per year.
Community Opportunity Readiness: Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) provides funding up to $3 million for community economic infrastructure proposals. Learn more.
Community Policing Grant: Indigenous and municipal communities in Alberta can now apply for a one-time grant of up to $30,000. Application is now open.
Capital Facilities and Maintenance Program: funding, which totals over $1 billion per year, is invested in housing, education, water and wastewater systems, and other infrastructure.
Circuit Rider Training Program: provides training and mentoring services to operators of First Nations drinking water and wastewater systems.
Health Facilities Program: ISC works with First Nations and Inuit communities to provide funding for infrastructure that supports the delivery of health-related programs and services. Deadline is ongoing.
Aboriginal Futures offers a Wage Subsidy program intended to assist First Nations and Inuit people who live in Calgary. Apply here.
Natural Infrastructure Fund: Major cities with innovative natural infrastructure strategies were invited to apply for up to $120 million for large natural or hybrid infrastructure projects.
Capital project: GHG reduction pathway retrofit awards up to $5 million per project.

Engaging youth leaders to encourage organizations to apply for funding under the Youth Innovation Component of the Enabling Accessibility Fund. Deadline: October 17, 2022.
Community Policing Grant: Indigenous and municipal communities in Alberta can now apply for a one-time grant of up to $30,000. Application is now open.
Affordable housing and rent assistance program provides Housing options and financial help for Albertans with low income. Municipalities are welcome to apply.
Shelter Enhancement Program (SEP): provide up to 100% of the project’s capital costs. Application is ongoing.
Canada Community-Building Fund: provides funding to help build and revitalize public infrastructure while creating jobs and long-term prosperity.
Municipal Natural Assets Initiative (MNAI) invites local governments to submit an expression of interest to develop a high-level natural asset management roadmap. More information here.
Community Services Recovery Fund: this fund is a one-time, $400 million investment to help charities and non-profits adapt and modernize.
CIP Major Cultural and Sport Events grant: maximum funding available is $250,000. Deadline: October 1, 2022.
Outreach Initiative grants and contributions program provides grant funding to support non-profit organizations or charities for a variety of science- or innovation-based initiatives or projects. Deadline: October 10, 2022.
Engaging youth leaders to encourage organizations to apply for funding under the Youth Innovation Component of the Enabling Accessibility Fund. Deadline: October 17, 2022.
Youth Justice Fund is currently accepting new proposals for both multi-year and short term pilot projects starting between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2025.
Stabilize Program – Adapt and Innovate Stream: This funding will help protect and promote Alberta sport and cultural identity, support tourism, and restore community vibrancy. Deadline: January 31, 2023.
Canada Post Community Foundation provides grants to Canadian schools, charities and community organizations that make a difference in the lives of children and youth. Next application will open in March 2023.
Discovery Horizons grants support investigator-initiated individual and team projects with $50,000 to $100,000 per year. Full application deadline: October 18, 2022.
Connection Grants support events and outreach activities with up to $50,000 or more funding available. Next application deadline: November 1, 2022.
Partnership Development Grants is valued up to $200,000. Application deadline is on November 15, 2022.
NSERC-German Research Foundation (DFG) call for proposals on Sustainable Processes and Chemistry. Deadline: December 7, 2022.
Knowledge Synthesis Grants: Shifting Dynamics of Privilege and Marginalization: valued at $30,000 for one year. Deadline: December 15, 2022.
Exceptional Opportunities Fund: The CFI will fund a maximum of 40 percent of the total eligible costs of the infrastructure project under this program. Learn more.
