2021 is expected to be a remarkable year for grants as provincial and federal governments unleash spending and incentives to kickstart the economy. Buckle up! It’s going to be a big GRANT year.

1. Agriculture

2. Arts and Culture

Arts Grants for Individuals and Collectives supports a wide range of art forms and practices to foster experimentation, creative collaborations with community and public presentations. The Film and Television Tax Credit (FTTC) offers a refundable Alberta tax credit certificate to corporations that produce films, television series and other eligible screen-based productions in the province. Deadline: March 31, 2021.  https://www.alberta.ca/film-television-tax-credit.aspx

Electricity Human Resources Canada’s Discovering Potential program supports work placements and training opportunities through subsidies of up to $16,500 per participant. Deadline: Ongoing. https://electricityhr.ca/resources/discovering-potential-program/

4. Environment/CleanTech

Forest Resource Improvement Association of Alberta (FRIAA) is pleased to announce a new Request for Proposals (RFP) under the FRIAA Mountain Pine Beetle Program (MPBP) Level 1 Control.
