The Environmental Stewardship and Climate Change – Producer program is to support producers in reducing negative impacts on the environment while enhancing sustainable production, managing climate change and increasing profitability in the agriculture sector. Link
The AgriScience Program aims to accelerate the pace of innovation by providing funding and support for pre-commercial science activities and cutting-edge research that benefits the agriculture and agri-food sector and Canadians. Deadline: Ongoing. Link
Agri-marketing Program: National Industry Association (NIA) Component aims to increase and diversify exports to international markets and seize domestic market opportunities. Deadline: September 30, 2022, or until funding has been fully committed. Link
The Investments in Forest Industry Transformation (IFIT) program is accepting applications for funding to conduct studies linked to the advancement of innovation in the forest sector. Applicants are encouraged to apply under our next call for proposals expected in early 2021. Link

Post-Production, Visual Effects and Digital Animation Grant (PPG). Deadline: Applications will be accepted until March 1 each year, or when all funds for the budget year have been allocated. Link

Startup Impact: SDG Pitch Competitions aim to highlight and encourage Canadian entrepreneurs whose startups embrace sustainability and fulfill one of the following 4 SDG’s. Deadline: November 16, 2020. Link
The Edmonton Regional Innovation Network (ERIN) Steering Committee has a discretionary fund of $25,000 for Community Initiatives to provide more opportunities for entrepreneur. Deadline: 15th of each month. Link
Through the Canadian Industrial Leadership Award, ten women enrolled in STEM programs at Universities and Colleges across Canada will be awarded a fully paid internship and executive mentorship at L3Harris, CAE, or Thales Canada. Deadline: Varies. Link
This fall, BioTalent Canada and the Stem Cell Network will launch its new online “Technical Skills Fundamentals Training Program” that will help students transition successfully to the bio-economy workforce. Link
Alberta Innovates’ TIER Economic Recovery Program (Program) will consist of a set of “shovel-ready” projects that will accelerate innovation in support of GHG emissions reduction, increase long-term economic competitiveness, and stimulate growth in critically important sectors of Alberta’s economy. The new $675M Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF) – Onshore Program is helping Canadian onshore oil and gas companies invest in green solutions toward reducing methane emissions. The deadline for this program is November 30, 2020. Link
The Watershed Resiliency and Restoration Program aims to enhance watershed resiliency to floods and droughts. The deadline for this program is January 4, 2021. Link
Alberta Export Expansion Program: Funding to help export-ready companies and non-profit organizations enhance access to international markets and attract global buyers. Link
Apply online for up to $75,000 in CanExport SMEs funding to cover up to 75% of your international market development activities. Link
The BDC Capital Women in Technology (WIT) Venture Fund invests in women-led technology companies and helps to build a robust ecosystem to support women in tech today and in the future. Link
Rupertsland Institute (RLI) provides post-secondary financial aid to Métis students to reduce the overall cost of education and the financial burden it can have. Deadline: November 16, 2020. Link
The Writers’ Guild of Alberta is happy to announce the launch of the 4th Annual Kemosa Scholarship for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Mothers Who Write! Deadline: December 18, 2020. Link
