The New Brunswick Youth in Care Scholarship is a program designed to provide support for tuition and mandatory fees* for individuals who spent 12 months or more placed as a child in care in New Brunswick, including foster care, kinship care, and other forms of care.
* Post-graduate courses or programs, masters programs, PhD, adult basic education and adult special education, academic upgrading programs, no degree programs, professional development, internship and continuing education classes for professionals are not eligible for funding.
*If you are already receiving complete coverage of your tuition through WorkingNB, Social Development or others you are not eligible for funding.
* If you are also receiving student aid funding, the amount of your scholarship will be considered and may result in changes to the amount of student aid you will receive or the creation of overawards.
