  1. Support for production of books/materials to preserve Alberta’s heritage: Heritage Preservation Partnership Program (HPPP). Deadline: First working day of September 2020:
  2. Provide matching grants for initiatives that interpret or promote awareness of Alberta’s heritage: Heritage Awareness Grants. Deadline: first working day of September.
  3. Grant awards: The Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC) awards 2021. Nomination is extended until September 1st, 2020.
  4. Supports development of individual Alberta artists: Artist Manager Program. Deadline: September 1/20.
  5. Supports music projects: Music Individual Project Funding.Deadline: September 1/20.
  6. Funding for a specific dance project up to $15,000: Dance Individual Project Funding. Deadline: September 1, 2020.
  7. Provides up to $15,000 for one three-month residency (April 1 – June 30) per year at the International Studio & Curatorial Program in Brooklyn, New York: ISCP Residency in New York Funding Deadline: September 1, 2020.
  8. Support the development of an individual Indigenous artist, arts administrators, or an ensemble of artists: Indigenous Arts Individual Project Funding. Deadline: September 1, 2020.
  9. Micro-grants to youth-led and youth-targeted environmental projects: Emerald Educational Engagement Grant (EEEG) program. The program will reopen in early fall 2020. Stay tuned!
  10. Agricultural Excellence Conference (AgEx) brings  farm management enthusiasts together to build their business acumen. Registration Date: Early September.
  11. Discover by Platform Calgary empowers you to understand how to engage with customers, how to test your product ideas, and how to measure the results. Date: Sep 2, 2020, 11:00 PM; Sep 24, 2020.
  12. Eurostars – Call for innovative R&D-performing SMEs projects. Deadline: September 3, 2020.
  13. Transform our industry and help realize Canada’s agrifood potential through Protein Industries Canada’s. Deadline: September 4, 2020.
  14. Community Project Grants are designed to provide assistance—up to 75 percent of an applicant’s eligible expenses, to a maximum of $25,000— to non-profit organizations. Deadline: September 4, 2020.
  15. The Eureka Cluster programme on software innovation will open its seventh ITEA 3 Call for project proposals. Date: September 7-11., 2020.
  16. Supports the effort to transition transportation to lower-carbon options: Zero-Emission Vehicle Awareness Initiative. Deadline: September 8, 2020.

  40. Assistance for Tourism Operators: The Cooperative Investment Program. Deadline: September 30, 2020.
  41. Need funding for recurring festivals? Apply for Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage – Local Festivals component. Deadline: September 30 (for festivals starting between July 1 and August 31).
  42. Agricultural Clean Technology (ACT) Program. Deadline: Before September 30, 2020.

  51. CanExport Community Investments program provides financial support to communities for their FDI initiatives and activities. Application period for 2021 opens fall 2020.
  52. Supporting Psychological Health in First Responders grant program provides funding for first responders. Deadline: September 30, 2020.
  53. The Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) provides financial support to post-secondary students who are unable to find work due to COVID-19. Deadline: Before September 30, 2020.
  54. Indigenous Housing Capital Program  is to increase the supply of affordable housing units for Indigenous peoples. Deadline: September 30, 2020.

  3. For not-for-profit community organizations that self-create and self-produce performing art productions: Community Performing Arts Organizations Operating Funding. Deadline: October 1, 2020.
  4. Business Award: The Governor General’s Literary Awards. Nomination Deadline: October 1, 2020.

  6. Settlement, Integration and Language Projects grants helps fund projects up to $300,000 for newcomers. Deadline: October 1, 2020.
