The Macao Entertainment Technology CTA is looking to recruit high potential Canadian companies with expertise in areas of travel technology, retail and hospitality tech, Virtual Reality (VR)/Augmented reality (AR), multimedia sensory experiences, Web3 games, Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, foodtech, and related fields. These technologies could help Macao diversify their service offerings to visitors and bring in new customers into the city.

Eligible Applicants

The program is designed to help Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) expand their business networks in Macao. It is best suited for companies with export-ready products in the following sectors:

  • Entertainment technology
  • Travel technology
  • Retail and hospitality tech
  • VR/AR
  • Multimedia sensory experiences
  • Web3 Games
  • Artificial intelligence
  • Cybersecurity
  • Foodtech

Eligible Expenses

Through this CTA, participants can:

  • Learn about the business opportunities in Macao
  • Meet with gaming operators, partners, investors, and local government.
  • Showcase their tech at Beyond Expo, the largest tech conference in Macao
