Big Grant Reveal
“Imagine winning a grant for something that you’re already spending money on.”

Hello Everyone,
Given it’s the fifth Monday of the month, it’s time to mix things up. We’ll be back next week with your list of Upcoming Grant deadlines.
Some of my long-time readers will remember that the last fifth Monday of the month, I wrote about the Comeback Kid. An interesting update to that article is that the agriculture processor ended up winning the grant after initially losing. Pretty neat. Keep acting like a Comeback Kid in grants.
Today I want to give you a tip that gets better with age. It comes from #30 in 100 Golden Grant Rules.
I think we’ll call this blog, “The Big Grant Reveal.”
As you can imagine, I get a lot of questions about grants:
- “How do I get started in grants?
- I know there are grants out there, but where?
- I know “so and so” won a big grant! I want one.
- I’m inventing something. Do you know if I’m eligible for a grant?”
The answers were hard years ago.
As governments became increasingly transparent, it’s easier.
You can easily search who won the grant by name, topic, or industry.
Want to see if grants exist in your niche, such as vertical farming? Easy.
Did your competitor win a grant? Piece of cake.
Most people have no idea this Open Grant Database exists.
Today it’s revealed for your enjoyment. Have fun!

P.S., Fun fact. I wrote my own quote this week. Kind of geeky I know, but it made my laugh. Hope you have an awesome week. Keep smiling. See you at Inventure$ if you’re there. Say hi and don’t be shy.
