The Animal Health and Biosecurity Producer Program provides cervid producers or First Nation Bands raising cervids with a rebate for approved eligible expenses and equipment that improve biosecurity and animal welfare practices.
Eligible Expenses or Equipment:
Equipment, items, or activities below are rebated at 50 per cent of eligible costs to the maximum program payment of $5,000 or $15,000, depending on the level of annual gross farm income $15,000 or $50,000 respectively. There is no limit to the number of equipment items a producer may purchase within the program maximum rebate.
