Decentralised Energy Canada (DEC) and the City of Medicine Hat are proud partners in the Energy Innovation Challenge, a ground breaking three-year program aimed at empowering small and medium-sized Canadian enterprises (SMEs) to overcome commercialisation obstacles and bring their decentralised energy solutions to market.

Eligible Applicants

The EIC Program is open to all technology/solution providers including start-up companies, established companies/industry, research institutions and post- secondary institutions.

Eligible Expenses

Proponents are invited to submit applications for technologies/solutions at the stages of (i.e., TRL 6 or higher): field piloting, commercial demonstration, or first-of-kind commercial implementation, as outlined in the graphic below.
