Intensive Rehabilitative Custody and Supervision (IRCS) Program is a contribution program with all provinces and territories for the delivery of specialized therapeutic programs and services for youth with mental health needs who are convicted of a serious violent offence.
Eligible Applicants
Only provinces and territories are eligible for federal youth justice services funding. This funding is not provided to individuals or groups. You should contact your provincial or territorial government for information about specific youth justice services programs.
Eligible Expenses
Under IRCS, eligible costs associated with the treatment of these serious high risk, high need youth may include for example:
- Reports and Assessments
- Custodial Programming
- Rehabilitative and Reintegration Services
