The Roving Energy Manager (REM) program helps municipalities navigate the ever-changing energy efficiency landscape by providing a free energy manager service.

Please note that the REM program is best suited for small towns, villages, and summer villages with smaller building/asset portfolios.

The Roving Energy Manager (REM) program operates on a cyclical basis. Applications for Cohort 3 closed on December 19, 2025. The 2024 cohort is fully subscribed, and the application period for the subsequent cohort (Cohort 3) has now passed. There is currently no announced opening date for future cohorts.
