Description

The Talent Development – Internship Program provides support for Small-and-Medium-Enterprises to hire recent post-secondary school graduates for Critical Technology projects that grow their business.

Eligible Applicants

  • Open to Ontario-based for-profit Small- and-Medium-Enterprises less than 500 staff.
  • Recent graduates from an undergraduate or master’s program from an accredited college/university (within three years of graduation).
  • 2 unit maximum per company (each 4-month internship is 1 unit)
  • Intern must be involved with at least 1 named Critical Technology in 1 key sector
  • Maximum $20k funding per company
  • Matching of funds 1:1 by SME

Eligible Expenses

  • Temporary talent to support business growth
  • Network development
  • Strategic innovation partners
  • Ecosystem navigation support
  • Up to $20k from OCI
