Labour Day Special: A $5K Grant You Likely Didn’t Know Exist

Dear CEOs & Executives,

Given this past weekend was Labour Day, I want to write to you about jobs in the trades.

We’re hearing a lot about “Build Canada,” which will include major infrastructure projects.

The housing crisis is another issue.

According to the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation, it now estimates that housing starts must nearly double to around 430,000 to 480,000 units per year until 2035 to meet projected demand.

What does this mean? Jobs in the trades.

But getting government grant money from the government’s bank account to your business bank account isn’t always straightforward.

To help you understand this process, I interviewed a grant delivery agent. I’ve had clients and Advanced Grant Writing Course students win from this agency, and now you can learn how it works too.

DESTINATION TRADE $5K

In this interview, we discuss how Electricity Human Resources Canada’s (EHRC) Destination Trade program works.

You’ll learn a lot about a delivery agent and how your business could possibly win. Remember, delivery agents exist in several sectors, like technology, bio-economy, and even hospitality.

If your organization isn’t directly in the electricity sector but your business services that sector, you might be eligible. Be sure to reach out to EHRC for more assistance.
