The Tourism Relief Fund (TRF) is a $500 million program to support the tourism sector in Canada, with $485 million in regional priorities funding administered by Canada's regional development agencies and the $15 million National Priorities Stream administered by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.
Investment will support partnership marketing activities that aim to RESTART Alberta visitation, inspires pride of place, responsible travel and drives cash flow to tourism businesses.
The Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit (CPTC) provides eligible productions with a fully refundable tax credit, available at a rate of 25 per cent of the qualified labour expenditure. The CPTC encourages the creation of Canadian film and television programming and the development of an active domestic independent production sector.
