The BMP program provides cost-share funding to producers to cover equipment purchases, energy/greenhouse gases projects, irrigation projects, construction projects, riparian projects and water projects, and more.
Upon completion of an environmental farm plan, project funding to increase your agricultural sustainability and contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment may be available through the BMP.
B.C. farm and ranch businesses with a goods and services tax (GST) number that have an approved and valid environmental farm plan within the last five years and that reflects current farming operations.
New for 2024/25:
The main Beneficial Management Practices (BMP) Program is currently closed for general applications. The Extreme Weather Preparedness (EWP) category for the 2025/26 program year, which opened on October 1, 2025, had a project completion deadline of January 30, 2026, and is now closed for new projects. Please visit the official program website for information on future intake rounds.
