Revitalization Extensive Project Funding (REPF) is for larger scale projects between $20,001 and $50,000.

Description

The Revitalization Extensive Project Fund offers organizations the opportunity to apply for funding for larger-scale projects in Revitalization Areas.

Revitalization Extensive Project Funding (REPF) is for larger scale projects between $20,001 and $50,000.

This funding enables the trans-formative projects that Revitalization areas need and allow the City to further leverage the meaningful community investments being made.

Eligible Applicants

In order to be eligible to apply for the REPF, organizations must:

  • Be registered (not -for-profit) or incorporated (for-profit, enterprise, or HOA) under a provincial or federal act
  • Be supporting community development initiatives in connection with Community  Services and /or Neighbourhood Services, or providing fiscal agency for an organization/group/individual that is eligible for funding
  • Be in good standing with the City of Edmonton (that is, no outstanding financial requirements, funds owed to the City,including but not limited to property taxes, or reporting for other City of Edmonton grants previously awarded)

Eligible Expenses

  • Beauty, Safety, Security
    • Support the care and attractiveness of local property within the Revitalization area
    • Support safety initiatives within their neighbourhood that build personal and community sense of safety
  • Thriving Local Economy Investment
    • Support the connection between local individuals and their local businesses
    • Support the connection between local businesses and local individuals
    • Support investment in market residential development
    • Support investment in market commercial development
  • Strengthening Capacity and Inclusion
    • Strengthen individuals’ sense of neighbourliness
    • Increase local individuals and business participation in neighbourhood events
    • Support local individuals to innovate in their neighbourhoods
    • Build a network of collaboration, openness, transparency and mutual support in their neighbourhood
    • Reflect the demographic diversity of the neighbourhood

Deadline Date

Applications are now being accepted for the Revitalization Extensive Project Fund. Deadline for applications is June 28, 2024.
