Venture-Capital Ready is an initiative launched by the Small Scale Food Processor Association. This fully funded investment training program is specifically designed for established food businesses throughout Canada. Its primary objective is to empower women entrepreneurs, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident as they navigate the investment process.

Eligible Applicants

Are you a woman founder in the agri-food sector? No ownership percentage needed if your company is woman-led. Whether you’re an existing or new Canadian company with growing sales and aspirations to scale, this program suits you. No revenue restrictions. Designed for founders dedicating 40 hours to learn about financing and investment capital.

Eligible Expenses

Venture-Capital Ready has assembled an impressive team of business coaches, venture capital experts, and communications specialists to empower women entrepreneurs. As for FEAD, we are dedicated to providing expert coaching to help women prepare for venture capital.
