Workplace Opportunities is designed to support employers subject to the Employment Equity Act (the Act) in their efforts to improve designated group representation in areas of low representation through partnerships and industry-tailored strategies.

This program will provide funding to eligible recipients to develop tailored solutions to support the four designated groups under the Employment Equity Act (women, Aboriginal peoples, persons with disabilities, and members of visible minorities).

Eligible Expenses

Projects that establishes working conditions that are free of barriers, corrects the conditions of disadvantage in employment and promotes the principle that employment equity requires special measures and the accommodation of differences for the four designated groups in Canada.
