TWO IMPORTANT UPDATES ON AI AND GRANTS
Dear CEOs and Leaders,
Back in 2012, I started writing grants for innovative companies.
Imagine the state of “grant databases” back then.
I started building my own database and formatting them “on a page.”
You could quickly determine eligibility. I opened the grant database to the public a few years later.
The problem: Grants open and close all the time, so the database is constantly out of date.
The solution: AI.
PHASE 1: GRANT DATABASE
I’ve been working with a consultant to ensure the deadline dates in the grant database are automatically updated when the government updates their websites.
It’s now available to you.
Browse the grant database now, and you’ll notice the deadline section of the “grant on a page” is becoming much more accurate.
To ensure you don’t miss an important deadline, we’ll run an update each week.
PHASE 2: GRANT GAZETTE PRO
As for the Grant Gazette Pro users, we’re now entering the “second version” of Pro.
AI FOR PROFESSIONALS
As you know, I recently piloted a course, “AI for Professionals” with Leroy Banack.
Join the waitlist if you haven’t taken it; it’s imperative that you and your team learn AI skills.
Here is the most important takeaway that I’ve learned from the course:
Employees who are already smart and hard-working and add AI skills into their repertoire will create a larger gap between themselves and the rest.
Have a great week.

p.s., Do you want to win a 50% OFF training grant for the upcoming Advanced Grant Writing Course? If you have an employee or you are an employee of a company, you’re likely eligible.
Yes. I want help submitting a training grant for the April 15 Course
ADVANCED GRANT WRITING COURSE:
Student Transformations:
Testimonial of the Week:
“I took a grant writing class with him and have successfully secured for clients: 2 private business loans ($75k each) and 4 non-profit grants ($235,000 total between the 4).
The resources, newsletter and training are all very valuable and can be incredibly beneficial if you are a private business, or volunteer/work with a non-profit.”
Sasha Wallach
The AI for Professionals started last week. It’s a nine hour course that can help your team learn how to use AI.
Week #2 was all about Working with AI. This week we’re going through student’s homework assignment.
A great divide is happening between employees who will leverage AI and those who won’t.
Which side are you and your team going to be on?

March Grant Deadlines at a glance. This list includes grants with “hard” deadlines in March. Note that it is incomplete, as some grants are open on a first-come, first-served basis. My hope is that this list saves you time and prevents you from missing an important deadline!
We’ve built and been testing our new AI grant database, and it’s impressive. We’re going to be tracking grants with the latest technology. The update is expected this week.
Sincerely,
David Kincade
