The Public Health Agency of Canada currently funds 236 CPNP projects serving over 45,000 pregnant people, parents and caregivers across Canada each year.

The Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) is transitioning to the new Community Action for Prenatal and Child Health Program (CAPCHP) as of April 1, 2026. All funding for CPNP projects is currently committed, and new applications are not being accepted. Projects in the province of Quebec will continue to be funded under CPNP until March 31, 2028, but no new application intake is specified. Please visit the official website for details on the new CAPCHP program and its application process.
