Description

The Green Certificate Program provides trainees with opportunities to enter a variety of agriculture-related, structured learning pathways as a part of their senior high school program and to earn up to 16 Grade 12 diploma credits and a credential that could lead to a career in agriculture or agri-business.

Eligible Applicants

High school students should contact their school’s off-campus education coordinator or career councillor directly to indicate their interest in taking the Green Certificate Program. Participants must be at least 15 years of age and in at least Grade 10 to apply.

If you are in 4-H, you may want to inform your leader that you are enrolled in Green Certificate so they can register you for the Green Certificate 4-H Project in the fall.

Eligible Expenses

Trainees select one of the specializations and, under the guidance of their trainer, work towards mastering all skills within their training program:
