The International Marketing Program is intended for international activities aimed at the distribution, commercialization of a sound recording, and the development of the career of Canadian artists in other territories. This second component aims to support the efforts made to develop an artist’s career by supporting promotional and performance activities, when the artist, album or EP supporting the project is linked to at least one recognized professional structure in the target market. As a general rule, Musicaction accompanies a project for up to 2 years following its release in the targeted territory.
