The Science Horizon Youth Internship Program provides training and funding for young professionals to help them transition into the workforce and gain experience in the environmental sector. The program helps them build a network of peers and mentors.
For employers, it gives them the opportunity to onboard young professionals and create meaningful environmental jobs in science, technology, engineering, mathematics by removing limitations and challenges of hiring new professionals.

The Science Horizons Program offers training and funding to young professionals with post-secondary education, assisting them in their transition into the workforce and helping them gain experience in the environmental sector. The program also enables participants to build a network of peers and mentors.
For employers, this initiative provides an opportunity to onboard young professionals and establish meaningful environmental jobs in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It addresses the challenges of hiring young talent and removes common barriers.
The Science Horizons Youth Internship Program is not currently accepting new placements directly through ECO Canada. While ECO Canada continues to support student employment through other programs, applicants interested in the Science Horizons program should check with other delivery agents like BioTalent Canada or Clean Foundation for current opportunities.
