You must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible.
The program provides non-repayable grant payments to licensed Canadian wineries based on their production of bulk wine fermented in Canada from domestic and/or imported primary agricultural products. Under the program:
The Wine Sector Support Program operates on a cyclical basis with annual intakes. The application period for the 2025-26 program year closed on May 30, 2025. While the program has been extended until March 31, 2027, the specific deadline for the next intake (2026-27 program year) has not yet been announced.
