“In the long run, a reputation for integrity is a priceless asset.” — Charlie Munger

Dear CEOs and Leaders,

Formula for winning big grants:

1. Is the problem your business or organization trying to solve important to the government? If yes, proceed to step two.
2. Does the government believe in you and your solution? If yes, proceed to step three.
3. Apply and win.

Easy to say. Difficult to execute.

You need to consistently nurture, educate, and inform your government partners.

So many people ask the grant agency, “how do I get a grant,” or “why didn’t I win.”

Amateur. Too transactional.

Instead of “dear grant agency, do you have any money left?”

Brilliant grant writers put the problem in a way that speaks to the government’s true needs

For example, “the cost of food is hurting our most vulnerable citizens, especially their children.”

Grant agency agrees.

“Our local food bank traffic is up 32% year over year because parents can receive food hampers from us without judgement.”

“Incredible,” says the grant agency. “How can we help?”

“We’re not sustainable at this rate,” you say. “That’s why this $150,000 container farm can allow us to grow fresh food onsite.”

“That makes sense,” the government says.

The same methodology can be used in agriculture, technology, environment, not-for-profit, or municipalities.

If you’re not hitting your grants out of the park, you might want to consider my Advanced Grant Writing Course starting on April 15.

Unlike any grant training offered in the country, it’s something that can help change your life and the lives of those in your community.

Have a great week.

David Kincade
Yes. I want help submitting a training grant for the April 15 Course

Update from earlier Gazettes

Dear CEOs and Leaders,

The AI for Professionals started last week. It’s a nine hour course that can help your team learn how to use AI.

Week #1 was all about Understanding AI. This week we’re Working with AI.

A great divide is happening between employees who will leverage AI and those who won’t.

Which side are you and your team going to be on?

We’ve built and been testing our new AI grant database, and it’s impressive. We’re going to be tracking grants with the latest technology. The update is expected this week.
