The Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI) offers paid postgraduate internships for one-year appointments. Interns must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants who have recently (within the last five years) completed a degree program from a recognized university or a two-year diploma program from a recognized post-secondary college in a specialization related to conservation or the management of heritage information.
Eligible Applicants
To be eligible to apply, candidates must:
- be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants;
- have graduated within the last five years from a recognized university or college in a program related to the internship; and
- have recent (within the last two years) relevant experience that may have been obtained through a combination of post-secondary studies, volunteer work or extracurricular activities.
Eligible Expenses
Paid postgraduate interns will be hired as term (one-year) government employees at the GT-1 level (for conservation interns) or PC-1 level (for conservation science interns).
